If you are looking for a resort nearby Beijing for baording on the slopes, I would choose Shijinglong (good for all levels) or Jundushan (Beginners or Expert - weak for Intemediates). Although the black slope at Jundushan has a big flat at the end which might require a few meters walking.

If you would like to go for park and pipe, there is just one place and that's Nanshan. Ususally from early January the half pipe, some rails as well as two big-airs (around 20-25 meter jumps) will be prepared by then. Shijinglong had last year also a small park, but not in the quality of Nanshan.
