The owner Wenna Chen, is an affable host with years of experience serving the foreign crowds of Chengdu, through her various restaurant entities, including the very popular High Fly Pizza. The specialty of the restaurant, as the name implies, is Thai cuisine and its specialty is Thailand’s National Soup known by various names, but at Fiesta Thai given the moniker Lemon Grass Shrimp Soup.
Fiesta Thai has a very convenient location adjacent the Traffic Hotel and overlooking the Fu Nan River, with sufficient parking available. From the entrance greeting on in, the cordial service is notable and friendly staff will guide you to a pleasantly decorated and relaxed dining area on the main floor or take you to the roof-top garden area for an outdoor dining experience. Definitely, try the soup!
