Bookworm

From the same folks who run the original and highly successful Bookworm in Beijing (see above), this is a new venture only a couple of months old. It’s perfectly located on the south side of the city where most expats hang out. It has the same mix of good food, a wide selection of drinks, and books to borrow and buy, as well as being a social centre for talks and events. Given Chengdu’s large and active expat crowd, it seems bound to succeed. Wine at RMB25 and hearty meals at around RMB40 will go down well we are sure !

Address : Renmin Nan Lu, Section 4 (actually on a small street off the main road, next to the Sunjoy Hotel)
