There is a new place in Xi'an that is American owned and opperated. It is a youth hostel with an awesome restaurant. The Chef is also from America. They have searched far and wide for the right ingrediants to prepare some of the best Western style food i have had since I have been in China. Juicy thick burgers, mexican food, pancakes, french toast, bacon, salads, cheese cake. The bar also has REAL inported liquors. The place really caters to the local expats. Its only been open two months but it is really catching on. many of the expats in the area took refuge there during the days of the earthquake and the aftershocks. It was a good place to find the companionship we needed during those hecktic days.

DIRECTIONS: from the Bell Tower (Zhong Lou) Head south on South Street (Nan Da Jie) Turn right at the KFC (XiMutouShi Road) and walk toward the end of the block. Turn left into the Prince Mansion.
