China visa after marriage
You can have your visa converted to a 6-month F visa which is issued by PSB (Only when you are already in China mainland.). Or you can have it converted to a 3-month one.
This visa has NO limitation of each stay.
You can choose 0, 1, 2 or multiple entries according to your schedule. You can use NONE of the entries if you wish.
During the 6-month period, you can try to apply for a 1-year spouse visa (Category L).
To get a 6-month F, you need to turn to a visa agent. You yourself can NOT do it.
To get a 1-year spouse visa (called visiting-relative visa), you need to go to PSB in your wife's hometown. The marriage certificate, your wife's ID, your passport and picture and some documents filled are required.
