Chengdu is hometown of the giant panda, and the Chengdu Research Base of
Giant Panda Breeding in the northern suburbs of the city. Entrance fee is 30
RMB per person. It is best to go about 8 - 8.30am because the pandas like to sleep
later on. A leisurely stroll around the largest panda adventure park in the world takes
about two hours or so.
