Two that I know

I have heard of two but I think the second one shut down.
the one that is still opened as far as I know is
QSI International School of Chengdu
http://www.qsi.org/cdu_home/

I know some people that sent their kids there, but I don't know if they were happy or not. Sorry, that's the best I can do...

Chains

Are there any international schools with branches around china that have a particularly good reputation. My wife and children will be coming out here soon, but there is a chance we may switch cities at some point so having continuity in curriculum would be helpful if that kind of thing exists.

Thanks in advance.

Chengdu International Women's Club (CIWC)

Roberto,
If you're about to move to Chengdu, you can always contact the CIWC for any practical information: chengduiwc@gmail.com.

Good luck with your move!

CIWC ...

Definitely contact the Chengdu International Women's Club
(CIWC) as Irini suggests. At last count, they had about two
hundred members. They are active and social with regular
get togethers for members and families.

EtonHouse International School - Pre-School, Singapore and China

Dear Roberto,

Following your enquiry, we would like to introduce you EtonHouse Intl. School:

EtonHouse operates International Schools and Pre-Schools in Singapore and China, and has developed a new method, 'Inquire-Think-Learn', that encourages children to think for themselves. Our philosophy of teaching is on the simple belief of having respect, responsibility and duty of care towards every student. We have expatriate teaching staff, low student to teacher ratio and provide a multi-cultural environment that allows the children to develop academically, physically and emotionally.
We feel, children's learning in the early years is dynamic and fluid. As early educators we value the process of learning (problem solving, thinking and communicating, which is demonstrated when they interact with peers, materials and adults). We believe children should learn through play as play is an expression of our creativity.
Our ultimate aim is for the children to have a firm believe and control over who they are and what they accomplish and have a continuous passion to learn.

At Chengdu EtonHouse we cater for children from 2 to 7 years old at this stage, and growing. Our language teachers teach within the child's normal classes, so that they are improving both English and Chinese.

For further details on our curriculum, philosophy, ..., please check our website:
