Actually I don't smoke cigarettes, but I do smoke the following:
KRATEK: Clove cigarettes from Indonesia. Some people can't stand them, but I'm always bugging mates of mine travelling to Indonesia to buy some for me. Just something about that sweet taste...and they keep away mosquitos.
HOOHKAHS: Hubby-Bubbly, Nargili, Water-Pipes, whatever you want to call them. Originally invested to smoke hashish in the bad old days of the Middle East, now for a very mildly narcotic concoction of fruit flavored tobacco. Double Apple and Rose being my favorites - you can find these along the bars now at Sanlitun, or at Barbarossa in Shanghai. I can quite see why in Istanbul or certain places in Xinjiang guys spend all day in the coffee shops smoking these. Well cool.
CIGARS: Gotta be Cuban. Regrettably I can only afford to splash out on a top siglo #4 at RMB400 every so often, so I keep them for a special occasion. Which is probably just how it should be.

No. You need to get them in Indonesia, Bangkok, Singapore or Malaysia. I usually stock up at duty free. Hong Kong used to sell them when the airport was being built with all the Indonesian workers coming over, but they've all moved on. Once smelt, never forgotten.

Chinese brand
It's got to be 'Double Happiness' smokes for me. Though when I was in Shanghai, the 'Shanghai' brand smokes were nice. I like the chinese smokes because the pack smells of chocolate when you open it. The locals like to smoke western brands as a status thing I guess but there are great chinese smokes to be found.
