Good Beijing Jazz Bar

A while ago I think I remember seeing a post looking for a jazz bar. Well, I think I've found a pretty good one in Beijing. The music isn't THAT good, but the musicians and reasonably good and it's a nice little place called Nashville on Hao Yun Jie (Lucky Street). The cab drviers should know the area and the stretch with restaurants is pretty small so you should be able to find it without a big problem.

Have fun!

The CD Cafe which is owned by Tsui Ging is pretty good, Jazz most Fridays, check out the listings. Also Latinos has a twelve piece Cuban live band at the moment...

All That Jazz

This jazz festival this weekend is going to be held at Capone's Italian Restaurant & Wines Bar at the Place.

Starting from 9pm Friday to midnight, with Blue In Red, a Austrailian duet recently joined the jazz sence and Wan Chun & Cool Buzz.

On Saturday night, there'd be Du Yinjiao and the Band, and then Beijing Bossa, a jazz band with the Brazilian flair.

And with rmb 35, you can get a cocktail, beer or liquor/glass.

Jazz

I agree with Chris, CD Jazz Cafe is a great choice especially on Thursday nights when Matt and his crew play. Also recommend Galleria Jazz Bar or if you're in the houhai area, the East Shore Live Jazz Cafe. All can be easily found my our website, localnoodles.com.

Best!
