Going to Yangshuo

Where are the best bars and restaurants in Yangshuo? I've heard that they have really good beer-battered fish down there. Is it worth getting? Specifc places? What other kinds of things are worth buying there? How much should I pay for one of those blue-dyed tablecloths?

Beer Fish

Yangshuo is small so just walk a little past the main super-touristy road and there are a lot of small restaurants. They make really good beer-battered fish and it's definitely worth it. SO GOOD!

As for those table cloths, it really depends how big you want. I think 30 kuai for a big one is reasonable. Shop around until someone seems nicer and more accommodating. Check them carefully as some are of poor quality. Also, they bleed like crazy! you'll have to wash it 6 or 7 times before it stops staining your hands. But they're beautiful
