Personally I think that mainland pop is getting a lot better than HK and Taiwan. Canto-pop was the big thing for a long time, but how many love songs can you handle? It's just not that good. I know mainland has the boy band too, but does Taiwan have anything else.

I have to say that, while a lot of mainland music is pretty crappy, the industry is getting a lot better and surpassing other "Chinese" areas in my opinion.
