Yi Ling

Yi Ling is a Shanghai born painter, well known for using his brush strokes to express the dramatic changes China is undergoing and it's quest to find it's identity in the global community. Amongst Chinese characters, hidden in the piece are primitive cartoon-like forms, and human shapes at home, at work, at play, a representation of the artists view of life in modern China.
