Zhongshan City is a prefecture-level city governed by Guangdong Province, governing 24 towns and situated in the central south of the Pearl River Delta, bordering on Guangzhou to the north and adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, with a total area of 1800 square kilometers, annual average temperature of 22 Degree Celsius Total population: 2.5 million Zhongshan is the hometown of Sun Yat-sen, the great revolutionary forerunner of China, and a famous origin of overseas Chinese found in 87 countries and regions, with over 800,000 people living in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Zhongshan City has a highly attractive investment environment. The city has a highway traffic mileage of 1077.2 kilometers and a developed highway network based on national highways, truck roads and the Jing-Zhu Expressway; the Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Macao airports are within the radius of 90 kilometers; the city is accessible to all parts of China by railway via Guangzhou. Today, with the opening of the Shenwan Port, Zhongshan has a triangular of ports, with the Zhongshan Port on the east, Shenwan Port on the south and Xiaolan Port on the north. In particular, the annual container throughput of the Zhongshan Port ranks TOP10 in China and TOP100 in the world. It is only 75 minutes' voyage from the Zhongshan Port to Hong Kong. Zhongshan has plenty of water and power supply, and a high-speed, high capacity broadband information network throughout the towns and large, medium-sized enterprises centering on the urban area, which has become the "information expressway of Zhongshan".
