Sex & Chopsticks – A Chinese Vintage Woody Allen

Cash Chin, the director of this film (properly titled “The Forbidden Legend”) has visited the long time banned in China classic erotic novel “The Plum In The Golden Vase” and come up with a category three rated sexual romp, somewhat akin to Woody Allens “Midsummer Nights Sex Comedy”, but with martial arts and Taiwanese porn actresses.
Tongue very firmly in cheek (if not vagina), Chin depicts the tale of the son of an ancient master of sexual techniques, who proceeds to teach his offspring all the martial arts techniques to allow him to achieve sexual perfection in the art of love making – but without allowing him to actually indulge. Military-styled press ups (but using the penis instead of arms) and so on, plus a growing sense of rampant sexual frustration take hold as our young hero grows in sexual stamina, yet remains a virgin. Enter, however, the beautiful Wakana Hikaru, and the young stallion discovers a passion for sex and love that remains for life. Making love to Hikaru several times daily, he is surprised and hurt when abruptly, she leaves – she’s purely been a hired prostitute to initiate him into the arts of love. Then begins a quest for real love – and sex aplenty, as Chinese Nuns, Mistresses and Serving Girls are all either seduced or purchased as he makes up his harem.
It’s middling pornographic, certainly silly, and at times laugh out loud, although the ending disappoints rather. But that aside, for a bit of good old fashioned smut, Chinese ancient erotic style, Sex & Chopsticks delivers.

The story is cool man. I must watch the movie. The name is also cool but it would have been better if the name was ‘Sex and Chocolate’
How could a bald headed girl like that be an actress in the movie.Whatever,I am definitely going to watch the movie,no matter if the actress is with or without hair,but she must be good looking and hot.

A very interesting, fresh and brainstorming movie. A fantastic opening, very lush with a great fleshy scene, involving acupuncture and death. Indeed the first half hour including more couplings with more wonderful looking ladies but then the film begins to loose its way. I personally strongly recommend to watch it, cause it really worths it.
The category III sexploitation revival continues with “The Forbidden Legend: Sex and Chopsticks 2”, the next instalment of director Chin Man Kei’s adaptation of the Chinese text ‘Jin Pin Mei’, a.k.a. ‘The Plum in the Golden Vase’.
Amazing movie!
The cast is wonderful, realistic scenes … finally recommend to all who want to experience sensuality, sexuality and pleasure to see a movie.
I missed this movie, but I am trying to find a copy on tape.
